Bob & Joan Caperton

 

We worked our first four/five years at the IMB Hospital in Barranquilla, Joan - RN nurse and Bob - Pastor/builder (built three story chapel building at hospital) and then our next term was mostly with the Indigenous Wayuu tribe people work with their health - Spiritual and physical - and drilling/installing on wells for water - The name of our ministry - The Water of Life.
We did spend about six months working with Mount Ruiz/Armero refugees after the volano/glacier/mud slide that destroyed the City of Armero which killed half of the population of 60,000 persons.
