I Want To Be Great - Part 4 - Even When It's Hard
by Dr. David Belk | 05-20-12
The Supreme Court ruled in 2001 in Good News Clubs v. Milford Central School that Good News Clubs can meet in public schools after school hours on the same terms as other community groups.
Each week Good News Club teachers present an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials. This action-packed time with the children also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson's theme! After-School Good News Clubs are especially important because they work in cooperation with public schools to supplement the children's education with biblical principles. Sound Bible teaching not only helps children grow spiritually, it also has a positive impact on their personal and home life, school performance and decision-making skills.
