LifeGroups
Success at First Baptist Church is defined by how effectively we create environments that encourage and equip people to connect with God and with each other. One environment where that can happen is in small groups called Life Groups. Life Groups are made up of 6-7 couples or 8-10 individuals and are places where people are personally encouraged and challenged in their relationship with God and each other. We believe a Life Group is the best place where sustained life change can occur. It's in this environment where people study God's Word together, fellowship together, and tackle the tough questions and challenges of life. It's also where they pray and care for one another and are missed if they don't show up.
Practically speaking, there will never be a way for the staff or deacons to personally minister to everyone who attends church. That's why we want to place a high premium on Life Groups. It's a way we can effectively minister at First Baptist Church.
A Life group meets weekly for 18 months and then multiplies into one or more new groups.
