FAMILY

Children

• Ask God to give you a clear vision for your children and then cast it every chance you get.
• Pray that you will always point them to a preferred future for their lives, of what could be and should be.
• Pray they’ll have healthy relationships.
• Pray God will give them wisdom to know what right’s and the courage to do what’s right regardless of the consequences.
• Pray for opportunities to build character into their lives, not they simply be a person of character. (Psalm 15:1-5).
• Pray God gives them favor among their peers and teachers and those in authority. (Nehemiah 1:11)
• Pray for opportunities to build genuine, warm, unique and mutually beneficial relationships with your children.
• Pray for healthy hearts.
• Pray that God will use your student in a great way for His glory.


Students

• Pray that they would be influential in the world, rather than being influenced by the world.
• Pray that they would be intentional about walking with wise. (Proverbs 13:20)
• Pray that they would trust God with critical areas of their lives. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
• Pray that they would develop a consistent devotional and prayer life (Model it!) (Romans 12:2)
• Pray that they would make wise choices in every area of their lives. (Ephesians 5:15-17)
• Pray that they would understand that maximum freedom is found under authority. (Romans 13:1-2)
• Pray that they would put the needs of others ahead of their own. (Philippians 2:3-11)
• Pray God gives them favor among their peers and teachers and those in authority. (Nehemiah 1:11)
• Pray Proverbs 27:12, the prudent (wise) see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it. Lord, help us to see trouble coming long before it gets here. And give us the wisdom to know what to do and the courage to do it.
• Pray that God will use your student in a great way for His glory.
Husbands

• Pray they will have and maintain a pure heart (Matthew 5:8)
• Pray he will guard his eyes and mind (1 Thess. 4:1-6; 1 Corinthians 6:18-20)
• Pray that he will not allow himself to be distracted (Proverbs 4:25
• Pray that you will release him from expectations.
• Pray for protection over your marriage. (Hebrews 13:4)
• Pray that he would embrace his inadequacy and depend on Christ’s sufficiency (Philippians 4:13; 2 Corinthians 3:5)
• Pray that he would save his best for home.
• Pray that they would hold things loosely. (Matthew 16:26)
• Pray that God gives them favor with the boss, clients and co-workers. (Nehemiah 1:11)
• Pray that he will guard against lust: Material (lust for things), Personal (lust for status) and Sensual (lust for another person).  (1 Corinthians 10:13; James 1:13-16)
•  Pray that he will walk by the Spirit, and not carry out the desires of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16)


Friends

• Pray for their relationship with God; that it will grow more and more every day.
• Pray for their character; that they will become the person God wants them to be.
• Pray they will have the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22)
• Pray God will break the sins and strongholds that have taken root in their lives. (Galatians 5:1)
• Pray they will handle the trials in a godly way. (James 1:3-4)
• Pray that they will learn to rejoice in God, no matter what circumstances they find themselves in. (Philippians 4:4)
• Pray they will learn to trust God, in all circumstances. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
• Pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual strength and time to rest. (Matthew 11:28)
• Pray that their minds will be renewed and their thinking changed. (Romans 12:2)
• Pray Phil 4:8 that they will think on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, and excellent.
• Pray that they will learn the lessons God wants to teach them.


Church Staff
 
• Pray that we would be consistent with our Quiet Times.
• Pray that we would have quality time with our families.
• Pray that God would give us wisdom on how to do ministry in today’s culture.
• Pray that we would continue to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in our leadership.
• Pray that God will continue to keep unity among the staff and in the church.
• Pray we would continue to be good stewards of the church’s finances.


Specifically:

Dr. David
• Pray that I would speak God’s Word and truth with boldness. (Acts 4:29-30)
• Pray God will show us what to teach and preach.
• Pray that the message would be clear.
• Pray for protection from the Satan and his attacks.
• Pray for wisdom in leading the church to accomplish its mission.

Dr. Bill
• LIFEGROUP Leader for a new Women’s LIFEGROUP.
• Safe delivery for our newest grandson to be born in June.
• Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit when putting together the music for Common Ground.

Stephanie
• Our family as we go through another trial in August
• Kyle as he is gone for 4 months for National Guard, and me, Jake, and Luke as we are at home.


Church 

• Pray for our various ministries, that God will use them to grow our relationship with Him.
• Pray for our services every Sunday, that people would come ready to worship.
• Pray that our church would trust God in every area of our individual lives.
• Pray that we would take serious our assignment to make disciples (Matthew 28)
• Pray for those dealing with grief and loss
• Pray for those who need a job
• Pray for those who are lukewarm
• Pray for those who doubt
• Pray for those who have financial needs
• Pray for the Dare You to Move Campaign, that people would see God work among their finances as they faithfully give.


Those who need Christ as Savior

• Pray for individuals by name.
• Pray for an opportunity to speak to them about Christ.
• Pray that they would see God for who He truly is. (Matthew 11:25-27; 2 Corinthians 4:3-4)
• Pray God would draw him/her to Himself. (John 12:32)
• Pray for God to remove any barriers to their salvation. (1 Corinthians 10:5)
• Pray for their hearts to be good soil, fully receptive. (Matthew 13:8)
• Pray for new birth and true repentance. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Luke 13:3)
• Pray that they become fruitful witnesses who lead others to Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20, John 15:8)

National and Local Leaders

• Pray they would fear God and acknowledge him as Lord.
• Pray they will see the problems that plaque our society from God’s point of view.
• Pray they would understand that leadership is a stewardship; it is temporary and they will be held accountable.
