Join us the 1st Wednesday of every month for an exciting WOW! fellowship.  Share in a time of inspiration and fellowship with women of all ages as we celebrate our worth in Jesus Christ. Each month, Amy Frits will lead us in a time of Bible Study, focusing this year on the book of Ephesians, then enjoy a pot-luck lunch and make a craft (optional).

WHEN: 1st Wednesday of each month
                 10:30am - 1:00pm                           

WHERE: First Baptist Friendswood 
                        Fellowship Hall

COST: $6.00 for Optional Craft

 

A Study of Ephesians…Filling our soul with His Love!!

     I am an all-in or all-out kind of person, so, when I do something-I want to really DO it! With that being said, this character trait translates into my faith as a “what now?” mentality. I am constantly plagued with feeling a need to be “working” on something in my walk with Christ-which in turn means I am looking for what I need to be “working” on in my marriage and what I need to be “working” on as a mother and a friend. Sometimes, I just need to STOP working so hard. I just need to receive a big dose of His Love! The book of Ephesians is just what I need in my life right now.

     I pray this year at WOW we will have a chance to stop looking so critically at ourselves and look awesomely at our savior. I know that when we make time to focus on the breadth and depth of God’s love we will changed. Love like his can’t help but change us. It is always important to self examine one’s heart and to clear away the dross, however, this year let us make our goal to widen the eyes of our heart to His amazing love and let our change come from brushing up against such great mercy, grace and love.
